Host Your Own Tea for 10 Fundraiser or Rent our complete Traveling Tea Kit!

The goal for the Traveling Tea Kit is to let anyone enjoy a darling tea with friends while raising money forThe Temwani Children's Foundation.

Make it a simple tea with scones, a High Tea with more goodies and/or a 1920’s theme with dresses! A great idea for a bridal, baby or special event too!

 

Kit Includes:

Matching Vintage China for 10& Linens (More china coming soon.)     This delightful Cronin China Co. vintage china set is decorated in sunny florals with 22 Carat Gold edge designs. The set includes: Dinner Plates Desert plates Small bowls (great for serving jams!) For Hosts -

• To host a Fundraiser: The cost to reserve the kit is a suggested donation of $75. This will help cover the costs of restocking the kit with teas, scone mix, linens, china and to cover program costs.
  • We would hope each tea could raise $400. (This is not hard if you have 10 people at $40 each - or ask for a minimum suggested donation of $25, and sell some scones, add dress rentals, or collect some extra donations from friends...)
  • Optional Tea Themed and Zambia items to sell
  • A coordinator can come share with your groupTemwani's work with children.
• To Rent the Kit for your event: For a one time rental fee, you can use the whole kit for a special event. We are still determining the full rental fee

 

What is the charity - Temwani Children's Foundation?

The name Temwani expresses the mission of the Temwani Children's Foundation, which is to bring happiness and hope to the lives of orphaned children and communities impoverished by the effects of HIV/AIDS in Lusaka, Zambia in Africa.

 

Temwani's main support project is the PaKachele Primary School, which helps about 240 students with 2 meals a day, an education and love. The meals are very important, as for some children this food may be all they eat for the day.
